“The trip to Brevard WAS planned, sort of. On his way to his motel, Jason told his mother by phone that since he was so close, he would spend Friday night at her house. This was somewhere after 9 p.m. He added: IF this is agreeable with Michelle. Evidently he had not discussed this with her beforehand. I understand he tried to call her BEFORE he called his mother, but Michelle told him to call back because she and her friend were watching Grey’s Anatomy. One of my favorites, too, so I can understand that.He planned to pick up some furniture. He wouldn’t have room for it on their Thanksgiving visit because he would have Cassie and Michelle with him. Those of you with kids KNOW that even with one kid, the car is full, unless you have a semi.Sometime around 11 p.m., Jason called back to Michelle and got PERMISSION for the trip to Brevard, EVEN THOUGH OUT OF TOWN GUESTS WERE COMING IN. He planned to be back by noon or so on Saturday. I guess you had to have been there to understand that stuff about the guests. I don’t pretend to know.Jason’s mother was grilled–no, that’s not right–was questioned probably very politely since no one is impolite to a mother from late Friday night until 5 a.m. or so Saturday morning. I’m not telling you anything the cops don’t know… OK, a couple more things. If JTF said it, it’s true. Go back and look. If Gojo said it, it’s true. Well, maybe some stuff I said was secondhand was actually first hand, because I had visited the house and saw the crime scene. But I was still trying to cover my identity then.”

A somewhat early Gojo post.  To believe, or not to believe, that is the question.

So the trip was planned, but not quite as “planned” as some would have us think.  He called Michelle (he said), but she would rather watch TV than talk to him.  Fair enough.  My family and close friends wouldn’t dream of calling me during “Jeopardy.”  So, he called his mom and said he would spend the night, as he was “close.”  How close was he?  As we do not have an exact place for his meeting, we don’t really know.  His hotel (not motel, as stated by gojo) looks to be around 150 miles from his parents’ home.  That’s a guesstimation from a map without actually running mapquest directions, so don’t slap me if its wrong.

Gojo said he was planning to collect furniture.  This later morphed into “nursery decorations,” but who am I to quibble?  At least it wasn’t a washing machine.

Gojo makes transporting children out to be such a space-waster.  Of course, back in the day when he was transporting his own kids, there were no car seats, seat belts were optional, and children were expected to either scream or sleep through the entire trip, and parents didn’t carry a whole flock of special toys, music and movies to keep the little ones happy.  Kids were held on laps and sung to.  So, of course the modern safety devices seem to add up to a lot of trouble.  Especially to an old curmudgeon like gojo.

So, he called for “permission” to sleep over at his mom’s, even though guests were expected.  I have to wonder–did Michelle say, “FINE!  Go to your mother’s!  I couldn’t care less,”  or words to that effect, or was she really OK with it?  “Of course, hon.  Say hi to your mom for me!  Oh, sure…we’ll be fine!”   Or, could she be a bit sarcastic?  “Oh, sure.  We’re just peachy-dandy.  I can send your friends out into the woods behind the house to forage for broken branches, and we’ll build a fire in the bonus room!  What’s that?  No, I’ll have your friend drag the BBQ up there…it’ll be OK.  Just don’t be too late, or we will have to rip up the deck…”

I wonder what they found to “grill” (no, that’s not right) Mrs. Young about from late Friday to 5:00 Saturday morning.  Did they apply water torture?  Sleep deprivation?  Did they let her go potty?  I can hear it now!  “Where did you get these drugs?  Is this your coat?  Did he really fall ‘plumb’ to his knees, or did he go down at an angle?  Was it on the driveway or the lawn?  Is it gravel or cee-ment?  Who packed this bag?  What makes you think this clothing is appropriate for a funeral? ”

Poor thing!  All she was missing was the BBQ sauce!

“If JTF said it, it’s true.”  …Right.  And I have some ocean-front property in Arizona!

Scraping the Bottom of the Spin Barrel

Well, this was a first. One of the BBs has attacked Michelle, saying she wasn’t fit to be a mother. Really, I couldn’t make this stuff up! It’s all about how Michelle was mistreating poor little Cassie. This unfit mom made her 2 year old sleep upstairs in an unheated, freezing house. Fireflies tried to set her straight, defending Michelle. But Houdini will have none of that. I reckon she would have called DSS. Idiot. What a misnomer. I’d like to see houdiniisgone. Abuse is a Good Thing?

You know, people seem to think it’s a bad thing for Meredith and her family and friends to be reading and posting on message boards. I don’t think so. I think it would be good for them and good for the cops, assuming the cops monitor the boards. ——————– gojo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is one of the sickest things you’ve said yet! Here is a short list of accusations that have been made about Linda Fisher: a) she’s fat b) she’s a pedophile c) she treated Michelle better than Meredith The list against Meredith is longer: a) she’s fat b) she abuses drugs c) she stole money from a fund set up for Cassidy d) she wanted Jason e) she was jealous of her sister f) she reacted inappropriately to finding her sister’s body g) she laughed at her sister’s funeral h) she coveted Cassidy i) she is underemployed j) she mooched off her sister Please explain how having Meredith, Linda, and other family and friends of Michelle read these vicious accusations is a good thing. Especially in light of the FACT that there is no basis in search warrants or news reports for assuming a problem between Meredith and the investigators.  Unlike the situation with her brother-in-law. For him, of course, staying silent and secluded from the investigation and the media is a good thing. Right.
