Gojo Never Quits
I reckon you’re misleading some posters, Scout.
Your list is not “evidence”. A bloody finger print
on the closet door, on the shower wall, on a door,
on the murder weapon—That would be ‘evidence’.
I don’t know how to help you to label the totality
of your list. Just leave it as is I reckon. To avoid
embarrassment, you should not wed yourself
too closely to this list of “stuff”.
–Gojo
Gojo, Gojo, Gojo. You never give up, do you? Hang on a mo…let me get Scout’s impressive list to which you are referring.
- Affair with Michelle Money…not damning by itself, but goes to motive
- Other incidents of womanizing and infidelity…ditto
- Hushpuppies footwear impression…one small brick in the wall
- Franklin footwear impression…ditto
- Murder weapon…last I heard, this had not been found, but if they can figure out what’s missing that could have killed her, it’s another brick.
- Deck boards – does shoeprint match Franklin shoeprint?...if it does…hoo boy!
- DNA from print surrounded by blood spatter on wall…this is extremely significant. If (for instance), he leaned on the wall for leverage as he hit Michelle, and blood spattered over the hand or whatever he braced himself with…he’s toast.
- DNA from jewelry box…no stranger DNA? Just where is the missing jewelry, anyway? With the weapon and his clothes?
- Jason’s closet ransacked; Michelle’s untouched; cash in new wallet allegedly stolen…I don’t believe in the cash in the new wallet.
- Cassidy clean…yup. No stranger would have done that.
- Cassidy’s bloody footprints in bedroom and bathroom but not in hallway…ditto. Somebody carried her from bedroom to bath.
- Cassidy’s bloody socks in bedroom…ditto. Puts Cassidy just where Jason didn’t want her.
- Dog – where was he; what condition? Meredith says “freaking out.”…can’t wait to hear her testimony about that.
- Pancof-PD prescription cough medicine in Cassidy’s room…Gojo discounts this, but that’s only because he’s not a mother. No mother leaves medicine where a child could get it.
- DNA and medication from oral syringe in Cassidy’s room…remember Pat saying that Jason told her he had given Cassidy diluted adult medications? Uh huh. If he felt he had to tell her that, it’s going to be a problem for him.
- No forced entry…brick in the wall.
- Garage door unsecured…ditto.
- Blood trail…I have actually forgotten about this. If someone would refresh my memory in a comment, I would appreciate it.
- Coach purse document – timed out eBay auction…lamest of the lame excuses.
- Clean up – in the house, outside?…looking forward to hearing what evidence is presented about this.
- New York Times delivery person sighting of SUV…fits the timeline, no matter what Gojo says.
- Gracie Bailey Dahms’ sighting of Jason buying gas at 5:27 am…this is very significant. It puts Jason in between Hillsville and Raleigh, and gives the lie to his claim to have been in the hotel all night.
- Security video from Hillsville Hampton Inn…no matter what they say about how he was just walking TOWARD the door, there is logically no reason to walk toward a door if you’re not on your way out through it.
- Key Card usage and lack thereof…one usage. Uh huh. Another brick.
- Rock in exit door…ditto
Tampering with security camera…coincidence? I think not.
Phone calls – Michelle Money…couldn’t stay off the phone with her, could he? Except for those few lost hours…
- Phone calls – Pat Young…28 calls–and then, nothing. What the hell does a 30-something man have to say to his mother that takes that many calls?
- Phone calls – Michelle Young…someone will testify as to whether his calls to Michelle were consistent with his normal pattern.
- Phone calls – Meredith Fisher…the “fluke,” remember?
- Ignored calls – Linda Fisher…consciousness of guilt.
- Cell phone pings and power on/off…ya can’t ping when you’re not on.
- Fuel usage inconsistencies…brick in the wall.
- Late departure and stop in Hillsville (halfway to meeting)…ditto.
- Late for meeting…why? Inquiring minds want to know.
- Hyper and nervous demeanor…ditto. Not to mention going off on Grace Dahm.
- Shorts and T-shirts in luggage; lack of appropriate clothing…he really, really didn’t expect to get all bloody.
- Change of clothes at midnight; clothes never found…this is also huge. The clothes in which he left the hotel never did turn up. Why?
- Missing Hushpuppies; other shoes purchased at same time found in Jason’s storage unit along with cream-colored sweater he wore on 11/2/06…I’ll bet real money they are with the clothes, missing jewelry and weapon.
- Objects seen in Jason’s hand in Hampton Inn video…gloves, maybe?
- Contradictory statements to friends about reason for stopping in Hillsville…if you’re gonna lie, it’s best to be consistent.
- Search terms on computer – “anatomy of a knockout”, “ischemia”, “head trauma knockout”, “right posterior parietal occipital region”, “divorce”…computer searches take down so many killers.
- Testimony from Shelly Schaad regarding Jason’s demeanor, dress, and behavior before leaving home…looking forward to hearing this.
- Shelly Schaad’s testimony regarding phone calls she overheard between Jason and Michelle Thursday evening…ditto.
- Impromptu side-trip to Brevard when Jason’s friends were expected to arrive for NCSU Homecoming weekend…another inconsistency.
- List of items reported missing by Jason Young via Pat Young…pearls? Please! No random druggie steals pearls. Too difficult to tell if they are real…
- Failure to cooperate or inquire about investigation…no matter how you spin it, it exudes consciousness of guilt.
- Marks on Jason found at NTIO…coincidence? Once again, I think not.
- Fight at Wedding…I’m dying to hear the skinny on this. And who locked whom out of the hotel room?
- Trip to California…no matter now it is spun, it’s aberrant behavior.
- Hostile email from Jason to Michelle…that was very cold. Points to motive.
- Public fights between Jason and Michelle…a “volatile relationship,” indeed.
- Jason’s public mistreatment and verbal and emotional abuse of Michelle…ditto.
- Disparaging talk by Jason about Michelle and his marriage…ditto, ditto.
- Jason’s email to Camp Illahee girl claiming to be unmarried…that Jason! Isn’t he a rascal?
- Carroll Anne Sowerby’s visit the week prior to the week of the murder; problems between Jason and Michelle at that time…suspicious activity, pointing to motive.
- Ring-swallowing incident…ditto the rascal.
- Jason’s drunken party incidents and problems caused in marriage…he was such a prize, wasn’t he?
- Therapist; issue of divorce?…this testimony will be interesting, to say the least.
- Jason’s emails to Kim after the murder…all that stuff about the fuss dying down and blowing over–what husband of a murdered wife wants that? Consciousness of guilt again.
- Behavior toward Michelle’s family after murder…ditto.
- Abandoning Raleigh home…ditto.
- Failure to file claim for Michelle’s life insurance…huge. Nobody takes out a cool mil in insurance and then doesn’t claim it.
- Moving on; not attending memorials or contributing financially to funeral or headstone…truly a prince among men.
- Trolling for dates on Internet using pictures with Cassidy…so cute.
- Refusal to allow Linda Fisher to have contact with Cassidy…Just WHAT was he so afraid Cassidy would tell her?
- Giving up custody of Cassidy…also huge. No father does that without a very pressing reason.
Many of these things can be individually explained or spun away, but, together, they will lock Jason Lynn Young up for the rest of his life, no matter what the moot one says.
