Deflection Detection
Why are you and others, Scout, hung up on the idea of rape? Why not consensual? Any semen? Any knife wounds? Any bite marks? All the missing teeth accounted for? Any indication of two or more weapons? Who knows what was missed?

Hummmm. What do you think, Scout? Doesn’t Spivey seem kinda young to be put out to pasture like that? Promotion or demotion? I was impressed with Spivey’s conduct when I met him. Later he seemed to be under someone else’s influence. He changed.

Just a couple of recent posts from the Goje-Man at FPX. Since the Death Penalty was taken out of the mix, Gojo has returned to his weeping and wailing about anyone and everyone, involved or not involved, in this case.
To insist that the absence of a rape kit at autopsy (still beating that dead horse, eh, Gojo?) means anything in this case is to clutch at straws. To imply that Michelle might have had consensual sex with her killer is outrageous! Rather than admit the obvious, we are asked to accept the idea that a woman five months pregnant would be having an affair with a murderer! What a low opinion Gojo must have of women! Or is he implying that Michelle had an affair and Jason caught her “in the act” and killed her? Either way, sliming the reputation of a dead woman with not even a hint of evidence is truly a new low for the retired teacher, John Goins of Brevard, NC.
ETA: I almost missed the bit about “any indication of two or more weapons.” Is Gojo seriously suggesting that Michelle had consensual sex with “two or more” people who subsequently killed her? That puts Gojo’s new low even lower!
No matter how he tries to spin it, Sgt. Spivey’s promotion is just that; a promotion. He is now out of the investigative branch of the WCSO. He no longer has to view crime scenes such as Michelle’s and investigate scumsuckers like Jason and his roadblock-throwing cronies. No more will he be called out of his home at all hours to look at and detail horrific murders. Now he takes charge of Courthouse Security and a whole flock of bailiffs. Congratulations, Sgt Spivey.
The sergeant changed, did he? Possibly because (if he ever actually spoke to him) he thought Gojo was a reasonable human being, at first. Later, after he learned about Gojo’s attempts to discredit him, the entire WSCO, the SBI, the victim’s family, and anyone else who thought Jason might be other than a pure mountain boy scout, he got wise.
You bring it on yourself, Gojo. I’m not sure I could be civil to you, at this point, and I am truly a very nice person. You, I would like to gag with a chainsaw.
