I reckon it’s about time you quit lying about your hometown, BSNRALEIGH. You’re obviously a city slicker who knows nothing about mountain women.

And you, obviously, know nothing about women, period. 

You call Mrs. Gojo or Mrs. Young ‘civilized’ you’d better be ready to duck. Duck twice and run if you accuse them of being ‘very civilized’. They are both ladies, and you’d better not forget it. They were born ladies.

Nobody is “born” a lady.  It’s learned behavior.

Nobody had to civilize them. Somebody did, or they would be mucking about in their own feces.

They are not ‘politically correct’ creatures who have been tamed to be humane, reasonable, and polished.

Where I come from, these qualities are considered to be good. 

Mountain women are born with an innate sense of morality and ethics.  

No.   People must be taught these things.

Manners they learn at their mother’s knee. They were taught mountain culture
and proud of it.

Learned.  See? 

Reasonable? Don’t even go there. You don’t, that’s for sure! 

Mountain ladies are the most unreasonable on earth. Their strict code of right and wrong will never bend, never compromise. Never accuse them of being ‘reasonable’.

So they, like you, will not listen to reason?

It sure looks like the lonely and those without a life have been busy. When you can’t discuss a crime without spewing ugly things about posters its time for me to bow out. Some of you I feel sorry for others I think are just plain mean people. For those of you that are sick and don’t know any better I will pray for you . For the mean and ugly you are on your own. You will have to ask for your own forgiveness.

Dear Gojo,I guess it is true what everyone is saying about you behind your back and that is, you have always thought you know everything but the reality is, you don’t. You parrot the same old mantra over and over. A poster who has any common sense and has formed an opinion that Jason is probably the murderer of his wife and son immediately becomes a BB (whatever that means) or follows RPD’s lead and is a member at Latter Rain. Wrong.

Guess what Goins? You are wrong on all counts. And guess what else, Goins? There are tons of folks in Brevard who would love nothing more than to see you fall flat on your face. They are more than willing to share information on you and Jason. Information that has been verified by more than one source and paints a picture that puts you in a very unflattering light.

So, Mr.Goins, again you are wrong.

And I am telling no lies. You have NO WAY of knowing what is said about you behind your back around town. I doubt you have asked Jason if he disliked you and laughed at you, because you don’t want to know the truth. It will smack you in the face and you don’t have the courage or the testicular fortitude to ask that question. Because you know that when he denies it, you are going to have doubt, because you know Jason has been known to tell a lie or two. And then you will realize you have wasted the last 14 months of your life defending a person who could care less about you. A person who PRETENDS to like you because pretending and going with the flow is much easier than swimming against the current.

I expected an attack from you, because the recipient always wants to attack the messenger, but you know what I say is true. Your words don’t hurt me. Same old, same old.

You’re losing it, Goins. And everyone knows it. EVERYONE.

And you know how you said mountain people hug their grudges and hold on tight to them?

Something tells me you have never seen the likes of the grudge the friends and family of a murdered woman hold against those who slander and defile them.

They drove five hours just for a chance for a visit. This

So, here we have Gojo letting Gracia know that he has searched out her cousin, and knows where she works.  If his information is accurate, this is supposed to put the fear of Gojo into Gracia and her cousin.  What Gracia actually did was tell the cousin, who lives in this very insular community, what the “buzz” is in the outside world.

She might as well have given a generator, a Wii, and a copy of Guitar Hero to the kids in an Amish community.  Probably not illegal, but frowned upon.

But, is it also a “phishing” expedition?  Is he trying to get Gracia to confirm that her cousin does indeed work there, and hence, is indeed the person Gojo believes her to be?

Probably best ignored.

Shame on them to be using Cassidy in their little game of control.  Sorry, Gojo.  Lying, or recanting a belief to save your hide, or anything else, is frowned on in most Christian denominations, and only the devil tempts people to do that.  Think about that one a while. Security at the daycare?  What is this, the White House?  Please!  It’s a small-town church!  there is no security issue.  It was a birthday visit from blood relatives.  NOT STRANGERS! I am sure that, if it comes to a custody hearing, their actions today will stand the Fishers in good stead.  They violated no laws, and this comes under the heading of doing the best they can to maintain contact with Cassidy.  In spite of the Youngs trying to prevent it.

A Threat, or Not A Threat?

I spent the day over in Brevard today, with a cousin of mine.
She was not born and raised in the area( neither was I ) but first came to the area for her first teaching position, right out of college several years back.
As she now is a professor at Brevard College, I have never thought about her teaching any where else in Brevard. But today I casually mentioned this case, and asked her if she knew Jason or his family, etc. She taught at Brevard HS her first 3 years teaching, which I had forgotten. JY was a student of hers’ his senior year. She knows quite a few of the clan, in fact!
And she has been told there is no way he could have commited the murder because he was at his mother’s that night! I corrected her, but she was very sure she had been told that Jason was in Brevard and at his mother’s on that Thursday evening!
Is this the story that the family is passing through Brevard?

I find this absolutely stunning!  The same person threatening (in a folksy sort of way) to look up Gracia’s cousin and discuss with her what Gracia told her, now alludes to the cousin possibly having disappeared.
