You asked about my meeting with the cops? A brief encounter, actually. And I was mostly listening, not talking. I figure God gave us two ears and one tongue for a reason. Besides, I don’t know anything.——————–

Whoa, Huckleberry, I didn’t want it to sound as if I knew things. The only info I have is what I get by reading and listening. The cops have told me nothing, nor should they.I have been told the cops have compensated for their early mistakes, assuming there were some. I know the cops assigned to the case are experienced and smart. I sure wouldn’t try to outsmart them.

Zup, Gojo? A little personal evaluation going on here, in your advanced and enhanced retirement?
Of course you don’t know anything! You never did! You think you know Jason, but you don’t. You know some sort of fake Jason that he puts on for you, like “a face he keeps in a jar by the door.”
Where are your critical thinking skills? He can’t be THAT good an actor. You’ve got to see the picture of Jason Young. Remember Dorian Gray? Or are you not as familiar with Oscar Wilde as you are with Robert Heinlein?
From your first involvement on the message boards regarding this case, you have done little else besides trying to convince others that you did, indeed, “know things.” Your cryptic comments, insidious insults and tendency to howl, “Idiots!” at all who disagree with you give the lie to your statement that you don’t want to sound as if you know things.
You’d have to get up pretty early in the morning to outsmart the police in this case.

A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal.

A man can be happy with any woman as long as he does not love her.

Zup, Exxe? From Oscar Wilde to Robert Heinlein to the Beatles? You trying to convince yourself you’re as smart as other posters? That’s usually why people try to show off their knowledge. I think a little personal evaluation is in order. Know yourself. All knowledge comes from that. Otherwise you’re an idiot.
In your attempt to analyze my two posts above, you forgot something. You take everything I post at face value. You read it as if it is aimed directly at you. You forgot to ask yourself, “Why did he post that?” When you take anyone’s post out of context, and then try to analyze it, you’re likely to err.
The two posts you copied above were directed at another poster who asked me a question. Before I answered, I asked myself, “Why did he ask that”? Then I answered. Do I lie? No, but sometimes I’ll be cryptic to keep from lying. Sometimes to avoid answering I’ll answer with an insult.
Something I’ve learned on these message boards: if you don’t mind people thinking you are ignorant, they will jump at the chance to show you how smart they are. Right, Exxe? A little humility is never dangerous.
